Yesterday, At The Art Show (verse Xxi) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EFFG HIIH BJJB

Yesterday at the art showA
I saw her and yesterdayB
My heart from me flew awayB
After that woman to followA
-
She sits on the bare ground to restC
On canvas her vigil she keepsD
The tired spouse at her feet sleepsD
And a naked babe at her breastC
-
Among the scattered straw is seenE
The peeled remnants of their last mealF
Her draping mantle she can feelF
As if a death shroud it had beenG
-
On the grim earth for the wearyH
Grow neither violet nor thornI
From a loving home they're tornI
And the sky is dark and drearyH
-
That lovely woman made awayB
With my heart and will not free itJ
At the proud salon's exhibitJ
Of masters of yesterdayB
