Wandering Through Love's Strange Bazaar (verse Xlii) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAB CCCD EEEE FGG

Wandering through love's strange bazaarA
Held by the seaside not farA
A sad pearl fair as a starA
By great luck fell to AgarB
-
Too long to her breast she pressed itC
And too long her eyes caressed itC
That soon she came to detest itC
And dropped it as the sea crestedD
-
The venomous Agar cryingE
Into a great rage then flyingE
From the sea the pearl tried pryingE
With the stormy sea replyingE
-
'Why fool did you so soon discardF
The fairest pearl in all the worldG
Back to my depths the pearl you hurledG
Now the sad pearl you spurned I guard '-
