slowly by my side pressed altogether close silent and pale	D
as if a presentiment of infinite bitternesses	C
agitated you unto the most hidden fibers of your being	E
along the flowering path which crosses the plain	F
you walked	G
and the full moon	H
in the infinite and profound blue heavens scattered its white light	A
and your shadow	I
fine and languid	J
and my shadow	I
projected by the rays of the moon	H
upon the sorrowful sands	C
of the path joined together	K
and they became one	L

full of the infinite bitternesses and agonies of your death	N

at the pale moon	H
and the chirping	E
of the frogs	C
I felt cold It was the coldness that in your alcove	R
your cheeks and your temples and your ador d hands possessed	S
within the snowy whiteness	C
of the mortuary sheets	C
It was the coldness of the sepulcher it was the ice of death	N
it was the coldness of oblivion	L
And my shadow	I
projected by the rays of the moon	H

as in that warm night of springtime death	N
