Roadways Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBB CDED FFGF EBEB FHBH FIFI

One road leads to LondonA
One road leads to WalesB
My road leads me seawardsB
To the white dipping sailsB
-
One road leads to the riverC
And it goes singing slowD
My road leads to shippingE
Where the bronzed sailors goD
-
Leads me lures me calls meF
To salt green tossing seaF
A road without earth's road dustG
Is the right road for meF
-
A wet road heaving shiningE
And wild with seagull's criesB
A mad salt sea wind blowingE
The salt spray in my eyesB
-
My road calls me lures meF
West east south and northH
Most roads lead men homewardsB
My road leads me forthH
-
To add more miles to the tallyF
Of grey miles left behindI
In quest of that one beautyF
God put me here to findI
