On Eastnor Knoll Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IAIJ

Silent are the woods and the dim green boughs areA
Hushed in the twilight yonder in the path throughB
The apple orchard is a tired plough boyC
Calling the cows homeD
-
A bright white star blinks the pale moon rounds butE
Still the red lurid wreckage of the sunsetF
Smoulders in smoky fire and burns onG
The misty hill topsH
-
Ghostly it grows and darker the burningI
Fades into smoke and now the gusty oaks areA
A silent army of phantoms throngingI
A land of shadowsJ
