To My Mother Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBCDEFDGF

Once more the Christian festival is nearA
And I for whom each day repeats all daysB
Continuously in ecstasy of praiseB
Love's birthday lasting through the unending yearA
Am dreaming how the spirit draws me sheerA
From farthest wandering in the illusive mazeB
To that white centre whose creative blazeB
Spun me aloft and sets me tremulous hereC
And since all heaven is figured in my heartD
As in a dewdrop ere it change and liveE
There shines the glory of the eternal domeF
Mother to you the showering meteors dartD
Of free affection fancies fugitiveG
And flare with increasing heat and splendour homeF
