The Sea Maid Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCD EFEFGGD BHBHIID

In what pearl paven mossy caveA
By what green seaB
Art thou reclining virgin of the waveA
In realms more full of splendid mysteryB
Than that strong northern flood whence cameC
The rise and fall of music in thy nameC
Thy waiting name OithonaD
-
The magic of the sea's own changeE
In depth and heightF
From where the eternal order'd billows rangeE
To unknown regions of sleep weary nightF
Fills like a wonder waking spellG
Whispered by lips of some lone murmuring shellG
Thy dreaming soul OithonaD
-
In gladness of thy reverieB
What gracious formH
Will fly the errand of our love to theeB
By ways with winged messengers aswarmH
Through dawn of opalescent skiesI
To say the time is come and bid thee riseI
And be our child OithonaD
