The Grave Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDECDE

In the grey dawn I lie within my bedA
Still as a frozen lake that pats no moreB
With murmurous delight the o'erhanging shoreB
Yet grim thoughts heave obscurely in my headA
For curtains I have earthen walls and leadA
Is colder than the woollen garb I woreB
But oh that heart of mine is still as soreB
As when I did not know that I was deadA
I knew her O my Life and she was fairC
And gave her beauty to the hills and seaD
The wonder of her voice to leaf and waveE
The brown earth lies between us does she careC
That since she cast the first dull clod on meD
My lonely heart is aching in the graveE
