Tha promised to meet me beside this thorn treeC
An darlin thi sweet face awm langing to seeC
When tha arn't here ther's noa beauty for meC
Soa stir thi lass stir thiC
Or else awst come for thiC
For tha knows what tha tell'd me last neet tha wod beC

Th' lark's finished his tune an th' dewdrops have gooanD
