| And we're nearing the haven at last | D |

| Around all is tranquil and calm | E |
| The tempests that passed us can never | A |
| Again strike our souls with alarm | F |
| We are drifting unconsciously gliding | G |
| Down Time's river my darling and me | H |
| And soon in love's sweet trust abiding | G |
| We shall sail on Eternities sea | H |

| To see what is hid beyond this | I |
| This life with its pain and heartburning | G |
| The beyond where is nothing but bliss | I |
| Our life's Sun has touched the horizon | J |
| It will speedily dip out of sight | B |
