Whew Tha'rt in a famous hurryA

Aw've noa dogs wi' me to worryA
Thee poor thing aw like to watch thiA

Why tha ommost seems to flyB
Did ta think aw meant to tak thiA
Well awm fond o' rabbit pieB
-
Aw dooan't want th' world to misen munC
Awm nooan like a dog i'th' mangerD
Yet still 'twor happen best to runC
For tha'rt th' safest aght o' dangerD
An sometimes fowks' inclinationC
Leads 'em to do what they shouldn'tE
But tha's saved me a temptationC
Aw've net harmed thi 'coss aw couldn'tE
-
Aw wish all temptations fled meA
As tha's fled throo me to dayF
For they've oft to trouble led meA
For which aw've had dear to payF
An a taicher wise aw've faand thiA
An this lesson gained throo theeA
'At when dangers gether raand meA
Th' wisest tactics is to fleeA
-
They may call thi coward BunnyA
But if mine had been thy lotG
Aw should fail to see owt funnyA
To be stewin in a potG
Life to thee awm sewer is sweeterD
Nor thi flesh to me could proveH
May thy lot an mine grow breeterD
Blest wi' liberty an loveI
