Oh Come to me darling My SweetA
Here where the sunlight reposesB
Pink petals lie thick at my feetA
Here in my garden of rose'sB
-
Oh come to my bower My QueenC
Sweet with the breath of the flow'rsB
Shaded with curtains of greenC
Here let us dream through the hoursB
-
The sky is unfleck'd overheadD
Trees languish in Sol's fervid rayE
The earth to the heavens is wedD
And robin is piping his layE
-
Lost is their sweetness upon meF
Vainly their beauties displayingG
Cheerless I wander and lonelyF
Hoping and longing and prayingG
-
Oh come to me Queenliest flowerH
Reign in my garden of rosesB
Humbly we bow to thy powerH
Loving the sway thou imposesB
-
Hark 'Tis her tinkling footfallI
Robin desist from thy singingG
Mar not those sounds that enthrallI
Faint as a fairy bell's ringingG
-
She cometh My lily my roseB
Queenlier purer and sweeterH
Haste every blossom that blowsB
Pour out your perfumes to greet herH
-
Panting she rests in my armsB
Now is my bower enchantedJ
Essence of all this world's charmsB
My heart has won all that it wantedK
