To His Sleeping Mistress Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFD

Oh fair sweet face oh eyes celestial brightA
Twin stars in heaven that now adorn the nightA
Oh fruitful lips where cherries ever growB
And damask cheeks where all sweet beauties blowB
Oh thou from head to foot divinely fairC
Cupid's most cunning net's made of that hairC
And as he weaves himself for curious eyesD
'Oh me oh me I'm caught myself ' he criesD
Sweet rest about thee sweet and golden sleepE
Soft peaceful thoughts your hourly watches keepE
Whilst I in wonder sing this sacrificeF
To beauty sacred and those angel eyesD
