Now The Lusty Spring Is Seen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDCDEE FGGFCHCHEE

Now the lusty spring is seenA
Golden hellow gaudy blueB
Daintily invite the viewB
Everywhere on every greenA
Roses blushing as they blowC
And enticing men to pullD
Lilies whiter than the snowC
Woodbines of sweet honey fullD
All love's emblems and all cryE
Ladies if not plucked we dieE
-
Yet the lusty spring hath stayedF
Blushing red and purest whiteG
Daintily to love inviteG
Every woman every maidF
Cherries kissing as they growC
And inviting men to tasteH
Apples even ripe belowC
Winding gently to the waistH
All love's emblems and all cryE
Ladies if not plucked we dieE
