Bells For John Whiteside's Daughter Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABB CDCD EFEF GHGH AIAI

There was such speed in her little bodyA
And such lightness in her footfallB
It is no wonder her brown study Astonishes us allB
-
Her wars were bruited in our high windowC
We looked among orchard trees and beyondD
Where she took arms against her shadowC
Or harried unto the pondD
-
The lazy geese like a snow cloudE
Dripping their snow on the green grassF
Tricking and stopping sleepy and proudE
Who cried in goose AlasF
-
For the tireless heart within the littleG
Lady with rod that made them riseH
From their noon apple dreams and scuttleG
Goose fashion under the skiesH
-
But now go the bells and we are readyA
In one house we are sternly stoppedI
To say we are vexed at her brown studyA
Lying so primly proppedI
