To A Red Clover Blossom Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAABABACDCD

Sweet bottle shaped flower of lushy redA
Born when the summer wakes her warmest breezeB
Among the meadow's waving grasses spreadA
Or 'neath the shade of hedge or clumping treesB
Bowing on slender stem thy heavy headA
In sweet delight I view thy summer bedA
And list the drone of heavy humble beesB
Along thy honey'd garden gaily ledA
Down corn field striped balks and pasture leasB
Fond warmings of the soul that long have fledA
Revive my bosom with their kindlings stillC
As I bend musing o'er thy ruddy prideD
Recalling days when dropt upon a hillC
I cut my oaten trumpets by thy sideD
