The Maple Tree Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAABACCACACDD

The Maple with its tassell flowers of greenA
That turns to red a stag horn shap egrave d seedB
Just spreading out its scallopped leaves is seenA
Of yellowish hue yet beautifully greenA
Bark ribb'd like corderoy in seamy screedB
That farther up the stem is smoother seenA
Where the white hemlock with white umbel flowersC
Up each spread stoven to the branches towersC
And mossy round the stoven spread dark greenA
And blotched leaved orchis and the blue bell flowersC
Thickly they grow and neath the leaves are seenA
I love to see them gemm'd with morning hoursC
I love the lone green places where they beD
And the sweet clothing of the Maple treeD
