Charms more than mortal lighten up her smiles | D |
Strong Faith and Hope unite her soul to cheer | C |
And Resignation makes her smiles more dear | C |
No earthly thoughts her purity defile | B |
As vap'ring clouds by summer's suns are driven | E |
Sin's temptings from the scriptures' charm recoil | B |
And all her soul transported seems in heaven | E |
