On Seeing A Picture Of Sacred Contemplation. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABCDCCBEBE

Serene she looks she wears an angel's formA
Her arching eyes are fix'd upon the skyB
Gloomy yet glist'ning 'tween black curls wip'd byB
Like a bright rainbow painted on the stormA
Her blue vein'd breasts religion's comforts warmA
The bible open'd on her lap doth lieB
What mixing beauties in her face appearC
Charms more than mortal lighten up her smilesD
Strong Faith and Hope unite her soul to cheerC
And Resignation makes her smiles more dearC
No earthly thoughts her purity defileB
As vap'ring clouds by summer's suns are drivenE
Sin's temptings from the scriptures' charm recoilB
And all her soul transported seems in heavenE
