What a yearA
Many lost ones so dearA
Many souls gave way to the inevitableB
Tears never ending but how can itC
How when your loved one is feetD
How The pain indescribableB
-
Death is an endless sleep and fear to someE
There are days when all we can do is cryF
For thou hast returned to where thee hailed fromE
We know that thee soar through the skyF
Beautiful is the welcome sound of heavens trumpet and drumsG
A sigh of relief with a glance of the most HighF
-
Death cripples the ones bereavedH
And leaves a forever scarI
Waning ones smile indeedJ
Thinking of the dead from afarI
Throbbing the heart as that of a stampedeJ
A pain only time can repairK
-
Death is not the endL
Those gone have left us in this vale of breathM
Mourning the loss of a friendL
Hoping to bravely smile at deathM
With a heavy heart so hard to mendL
It s never goodbye till we blow our last breathM
-
The sting of death lingers on butN
So do the sweet memories whichO
Are forever etched in our mindsP
Regardless here s to all lost soulsQ
May mother earth rest gently on youR
You re gone but never forgottenS
