What a year
Many lost ones so dear.
Many souls gave way to the inevitable.
Tears never ending, but how can it?
How, when your loved one is 6 feet?
How? The pain, indescribable.
Death is an endless sleep and fear to some
There are days when all we can do is cry
For thou hast returned to where thee hailed from
We know that thee soar through the sky
Beautiful is the welcome sound of heavens trumpet and drums
A sigh of relief with a glance of the most High
Death cripples the ones bereaved
And leaves a forever scar
Waning ones smile indeed
Thinking of the dead from afar
Throbbing the heart as that of a stampede
A pain only time can repair
Death is not the end
Those gone have left us in this vale of breath
Mourning the loss of a friend
Hoping to bravely smile at death
With a heavy heart so hard to mend
It’s never goodbye till we blow our last breath
The sting of death lingers on, but
So do the sweet memories, which
Are forever etched in our minds.
Regardless, here’s to all lost souls!
May mother earth rest gently on you,
You’re gone, but never forgotten!.
