Lilah, Alice, Hypatia Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBAACCDDEEFF AAGGHH

To Alice and Hypatia BradlaughA
-
Who was Lilah I am sureB
She was young and sweet and pureB
With the forehead wise men loveA
Here a lucid dawn aboveA
Broad curved brows and twilight thereC
Under the deep dusk of hairC
And her eyes I cannot sayD
Whether brown or blue or greyD
I have seen them brown and blueE
And a soft green grey the hueE
Shakespeare loved and he was wiseF
'Grey as glass' were Silvia's eyesF
-
So to Lilah's name aboveA
I will add two names I loveA
Linking with the bracket curlsG
Three sweet names of three sweet girlsG
Sunday of Saint ValentineH
Eighteen hundred sixty nineH
