In her chill progress to the ground condensed | C |
The vapours throws Where creeping waters ooze | D |
Where marshes stagnate and where rivers wind | E |
Cluster the rolling fogs and swim along | F |
The dusky mantled lawn Meanwhile the moon | G |
Full orb'd and breaking through the scatter'd clouds | H |
Shews her broad visage in the crimson east | I |
Turn'd to the sun direct her spotted disk | J |
Where mountains rise umbrageous dales descend | K |
And caverns deep as optic tube descries | H |
A smaller earth gives us his blaze again | L |
Void of its flame and sheds a softer day | A |
Now through the passing cloud she seems to stoop | M |
Now up the pure cerulean rides sublime | N |
Wide the pale deluge floats and streaming mild | O |
O'er the skied mountain to the shadowy vale | P |
While rocks and floods reflect the quivering gleam | Q |
The whole air whitens with a boundless tide | R |
Of silver radiance trembling round the world | S |
