White breaks the clouds away With quicken'd step | I |
Brown Night retires young Day pours in apace | H |
And opens all the lawny prospects wide | J |
The dripping rock the mountain's misty top | K |
Swell on the sight and brighten with the dawn | L |
Blue through the dusk the smoking currents shine | M |
And from the bladed field the fearful hare | N |
Limps awkward while along the forest glade | O |
The wild deer trip and often turning gaze | B |
At early passenger Music awakes | B |
The native voice of undissembled joy | P |
And thick around the woodland hymns arise | B |
Roused by the cock the soon clad shepherd leaves | B |
His mossy cottage where with Peace he dwells | B |
And from the crowded fold in order drives | B |
His flock to taste the verdure of the morn | Q |
