The Good Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAABCCC

Cheerful and happy was his moodA
He to the poor was kind and goodB
And he oft' times did find them foodA
Also supplies of coal and woodB
He never spake a word was rudeA
And cheer'd those did o'er sorrows broodA
He passed away not understoodB
Because no poet in his laysC
Had penned a sonnet in his praiseC
'Tis sad but such is world's waysC
