The season's pasture it seemed lost | A |
And the wondrous yield of corn | B |
Of its green beauty it was shorn | B |

Frost it came like early robber | C |

Which were absorbed by grateful soil | D |
With green once more the pastures smile | E |

And cows again are happy seen | F |
Enjoying of the pastures green | F |
And flow of milk again they yield | G |
From the sweet feed of grassy field | G |

And we have now a fine November | C |
Warmer far than in September | C |
The apple which is queen of fruits | H |
Was a good crop and so is roots | H |

The rains they did replenish springs | I |
And it gratitude to each heart brings | I |
When we reflect on bounteous season | J |
