But now they town of metal seek | D |

For industry it here prevails | E |
As it was built by the steel rails | E |
And here the wide expanded bridges | F |
Do connect the distant ridges | F |
No more need to stay at home as | G |
There's lots of railroads to St Thomas | H |
You pluckily did boldly venture | I |
Now you are great railroad centre | I |
Your city now it hath high hopes | J |
From its great railway work shops | K |
And higher yet it still will rise | L |
This seat of so much enterprise | L |
When young man longs for wedded mate | M |
He seeks Alma girl graduate | N |
St Thomas is baby city named | O |
And for its youthful vigor famed | O |
