Poetry Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABBAACCBB DDEEFFGGHHIIPoetry to us is given | A |
As stars beautify the heaven | A |
Or as the sunbeams when they gleam | B |
Sparkling so bright upon the stream | B |
And the poetry of motion | A |
Is ship sailing o'er the ocean | A |
Or when the bird doth graceful fly | C |
Seeming to float upon the sky | C |
For poetry is the pure cream | B |
And essence of the common theme | B |
- | |
Poetic thoughts the mind doth fill | D |
When on broad plain to view a hill | D |
On barren heath how it doth cheer | E |
To see in distance herd of deer | E |
And poetry breathes in each flower | F |
Nourished by the gentle shower | F |
In song of birds upon the trees | G |
And humming of busy bees | G |
'Tis solace for the ills of life | H |
A soothing of the jars and strife | H |
For poets feel it a duty | I |
To sing of both worth and beauty | I |
