Lines On The Finding Of A Young Man's Body In Toronto Bay Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCC DDEE FFGG HIFF

His identity was discovered by finding the maker's name on the suit he wore and by sending a strip of the cloth to the maker in MontrealA
-
A young man's body long it layB
In bottom of Toronto BayB
But at last the waters boreC
And raised him up near to the shoreC
-
But no one knew his rank or stationD
No one knew his home or nationD
But his form and dress were genteelE
And sorrow many they did feelE
-
Kind man took charge of the remainsF
And was well rewarded for his painsF
So skilful he did him embalmG
Restored the features sweet and calmG
-
The father came and he did blessH
The man who did restore the faceI
And saved for him his son's remainsF
And thus he fame and honor gainsF
