And take a trip on Credit Valley | B |
We resolved for to afford | F |
A day with Council and School Board | F |
For to view the rural charms | G |
Of hills and dales and fertile farms | G |
With joy we saw the sunbeams gleam | H |
On Grand River beauteous stream | H |
And those perpendicular walls | I |
Of rock like old baronial halls | I |
We saw the great lake ebb and flow | J |
And Queen City of Ontario | J |
While some enjoyed the genial smile | K |
Of Hanlon on his lake girt isle | K |
Returning home each one exclaims | L |
'Happiest spot is banks of Thames ' | - |
