Rhyme Scheme: AABB CBDD

British infants who were nobly bornA
Were from their bleeding mother's bosom tornA
And with the bayonet dashed upon the streetB
There left to lie for native dogs to eatB

But the British Lion he soon o'erthrewC
Both the high and the low HindooB
Now they respect the Christian lawsD
For fear of British Lion's pawsD
