Harvest Home Festivals Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCBB DE

In summer time it doth seem goodA
To seek the shade of the green woodA
For it doth banish all our careB
When we gaze on scene so fairB
-
And birds do here in branches singC
So merrily in early springC
And lovingly they here do pairB
Their mutual joys together shareB
-
Here nature's charming never rude Inspiring all with happy moodD
Tables had choice fruit of season And we too had feast of reasonE
