Disaster To Steamer Victoria At London Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBBBBB

At London Thames is a broad streamA
Which was the scene of a sad themeA
A fragile steamer there did playB
O'ercrowded on a Queen's BirthdayB
While all on board was bright and gayB
But soon 'neath the cold water layB
Naught but forms of lifeless clayB
Which made alas sad month of MayB
