Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF BBGG

Hail Britannia's noblest daughterA
Who is surrounded by the waterA
Of many a lake and broad seaB
Land of beaver and of maple treeB
-
Her lofty brow is wreathed with smilesC
For from the far Atlantic islesC
In pomp have come their delegatesD
All seeking to unite their fatesD
-
With Canada great northern queenE
And now throughout the land is seenE
High festival and stately danceF
Triumphant nuptials to advanceF
-
And soon shall Red River valleyB
And distant Vancouver rallyB
To form this Empire giganticG
From Pacific to AtlanticG
