Beachville Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDEFFGHII

Of Beachville village of the plainA
We now will sing a short refrainA
For here the Thames doth pleasant flowB
And charm to landscape doth bestowB
Though river here it is not deepC
Yet banks slope graceful up the steepC
And from the summit of the hillsD
You look down on the famed lime kilnsE
And 'tis full worthy poet's rhymeF
The whiteness of your pure white limeF
Your glory never shall be goneG
While you have quarries of this stoneH
In influence you yet will waxI
With mills for flour and also flaxI
