To The Muse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDAEFGHI AJKLAI MNO PQRSTPU AVWHXBAH YZURBA2M IZHAYB2A

It is all right All they doA
Is go in by dividingB
One rib from another I wouldn'tC
Lie to you It hurtsD
Like nothing I know All they doA
Is burn their way in with a wireE
It forks in and out a little like the tongueF
Of that frightened garter snake we caughtG
At Cloverfield you and me JennyH
So long agoI
-
I would lie to youA
If I couldJ
But the only way I can get you to come upK
Out of the suckhole the south faceL
Of the Powhatan pit is to tell youA
What you knowI
-
You come up after dark you poise aloneM
With me on the shoreN
I lead you back to this worldO
-
Three lady doctors in Wheeling openP
Their offices at nightQ
I don't have to call them they are always thereR
But they only have to put the knife onceS
Under your breastT
Then they hang their contraptionP
And you bear itU
-
It's awkward a while Still it lets youA
Walk about on tiptoe if you don'tV
Jiggle the needleW
It might stab your heart you seeH
The blade hangs in your lung and the tubeX
Keeps it drainingB
That way they only have to stab youA
Once Oh JennyH
-
I wish to God I had made this world this scurvyY
And disastrous place IZ
Didn't I can't bear itU
Either I don't blame you sleeping down thereR
Face down in the unbelievable silk of springB
Muse of the black sandA2
AloneM
-
I don't blame you I knowI
The place where you lieZ
I admit everything But look at meH
How can I live without youA
Come up to me loveY
Out of the river or I willB2
Come down to youA
