U.S. Army Specialist Kyle James Wright, was killed by an IED while driving a Stryker Vehicle six days earlier (January 13, 2010) and laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery on February 2nd (Section 60, 8862). He was 22 from Romeoville, Illinois.

While I didn't get a chance to serve in Afghanistan, in 2010 I was the Casualty Assistance Officer (CAO) for the mother who's son was killed by an IED.
