Depressed By A Book Of Bad Poetry, I Walk Toward An Unused Pasture And Invite The Insects To Join Me Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLM

Relieved I let the book fall behind a stoneA
I climb a slight rise of grassB
I do not want to disturb the antsC
Who are walking single file up the fence postD
Carrying small white petalsE
Casting shadows so frail that I can see through themF
I close my eyes for a moment and listenG
The old grasshoppersH
Are tired they leap heavily nowI
Their thighs are burdenedJ
I want to hear them they have clear sounds to makeK
Then lovely far off a dark cricket beginsL
In the maple treesM
