Psalm 97 Part 3 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCC DDEE FFGG HHIJ

Grace and gloryA
-
Th' Almighty reigns exalted highB
O'er all the earth o'er all the skyB
Though clouds and darkness veil his feetC
His dwelling is the mercy seatC
-
O ye that love his holy nameD
Hate every work of sin and shameD
He guards the souls of all his friendsE
And from the snares of hell defendsE
-
Immortal light and joys unknownF
Are for the saints in darkness sownF
Those glorious seeds shall spring and riseG
And the bright harvest bless our eyesG
-
Rejoice ye righteous and recordH
The sacred honors of the LordH
None but the soul that feels his graceI
Can triumph in his holinessJ
