Psalm 93 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCC DDEA FFGG HHIJ

The eternal and sovereign GodA
-
Jehovah reigns he dwells in lightB
Girded with majesty and mightB
The world created by his handsC
Still on its first foundation standsC
-
But ere this spacious world was madeD
Or had its first foundation laidD
Thy throne eternal ages stoodE
Thyself the ever living GodA
-
Like floods the angry nations riseF
And aim their rage against the skiesF
Vain floods that aim their rage so highG
At thy rebuke the billows dieG
-
For ever shall thy throne endureH
Thy promise stands for ever sureH
And everlasting holinessI
Becomes the dwellings of thy graceJ
