Protection from death guard of angels victory and deliveranceC
-
Ye sons of men a feeble raceD
Exposed to every snareE
Come make the Lord your dwelling placeD
And try and trust his careE
-
No ill shall enter where you dwellF
Or if the plague come nighG
And sweep the wicked down to hellF
'Twill raise his saints on highG
-
He'll give his angels charge to keepH
Your feet in all their waysI
To watch your pillow while you sleepH
And guard your happy daysI
-
Their hands shall bear you lest you fallJ
And dash against the stonesK
Are they not servants at his callJ
And sent t' attend his sonsL
-
Adders and lions ye shall treadM
The tempters wiles defeatN
He that hath broke the serpent's headM
Puts him beneath your feetN
-
Because on me they set their loveO
I'll save them saith the LordP
I'll bear their joyful souls aboveO
Destruction and the swordP
-
My grace shall answer when they callJ
In trouble I'll be nighG
My power shall help them when they fallJ
And raise them when they dieG
-
Those that on earth my name have knownQ
I'll honor them in heav'nQ
There my salvation shall be shownQ
And endless life be giv'nQ
