The covenant of grace unchangeableC
-
Yet saith the Lord if David's raceD
The children of my SonE
Should break my laws abuse my graceD
And tempt mine anger downF
-
Their sins I'll visit with the rodG
And make their folly smartH
But I'll not cease to be their GodG
Nor from my truth departH
-
My cov'nant I will ne'er revokeI
But keep my grace in mindJ
And what eternal love hath spokeI
Eternal truth shall bindJ
-
Once have I sworn I need no moreK
And pledged my holinessL
To seal the sacred promise sureM
To David and his raceD
-
The sun shall see his offspring riseN
And spread from sea to seaO
Long as he travels round the skiesN
To give the nations dayP
-
Sure as the moon that rules the nightQ
His kingdom shall endureM
Till the fixed laws of shade and lightQ
Shall be observed no moreK
