The power and majesty of God or Reverential worshipC
-
With rev'rence let the saints appearD
And bow before the LordE
His high commands with rev'rence hearF
And tremble at his wordG
-
How terrible thy glories beH
How bright thine armies shineI
Where is the power that vies with theeH
Or truth compared to thineI
-
The northern pole and southern restJ
On thy supporting handK
Darkness and day from east to westJ
Move round at thy commandK
-
Thy words the raging winds controlL
And rule the boist'rous deepM
Thou mak'st the sleeping billows rollL
The rolling billows sleepM
-
Heav'n earth and air and sea are thineI
And the dark world of hellN
How did thine arm in vengeance shineI
When Egypt durst rebelO
-
Justice and judgment are thy throneP
Yet wondrous is thy graceQ
While truth and mercy joined in oneR
Invite us near thy faceQ
