Psalm 85 Part 1 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEFG AHAI JKLK MNMN

vA
L MB
Waiting for an answer to prayer or Deliverance begun and completedC
-
Lord thou hast called thy grace to mindD
Thou hast reversed our heavy doomE
So God forgave when Isr'el sinnedF
And brought his wand'ring captives homeG
-
Thou hast begun to set us freeA
And made thy fiercest wrath abateH
Now let our hearts be turned to theeA
And thy salvation be completeI
-
Revive our dying graces LordJ
And let thy saints in thee rejoiceK
Make known thy truth fulfil thy wordL
We wait for praise to tune our voiceK
-
We wait to hear what God will sayM
He'll speak and give his people peaceN
But let them run no more astrayM
Lest his returning wrath increaseN
