Psalm 82 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDD EFGH IIJK LMNN

God the supreme Governor or Magistrates warnedA
-
Among th' assemblies of the greatB
A greater Ruler takes his seatC
The God of heav'n as Judge surveysD
Those gods on earth and all their waysD
-
Why will ye then frame wicked lawsE
Or why support th' unrighteous causeF
When will ye once defend the poorG
That sinners vex the saints no moreH
-
They know not Lord nor will they knowI
Dark are the ways in which they goI
Their name of earthly gods is vainJ
For they shall fall and die like menK
-
Arise O Lord and let thy SonL
Possess his universal throneM
And rule the nations with his rodN
He is our Judge and he our GodN
