vA
C MB
The aged saint's reflection and hopeC
-
My God my everlasting hopeC
I live upon thy truthD
Thine hands have held my childhood upE
And strengthened all my youthD
-
My flesh was fashioned by thy powerF
With all these limbs of mineG
And from my mother's painful hourF
I've been entirely thineG
-
Still has my life new wonders seenH
Repeated every yearI
Behold my days that yet remainJ
I trust them to thy careK
-
Cast me not off when strength declinesL
When hoary hairs ariseM
And round me let thy glory shineG
Whene'er thy servant diesM
-
Then in the hist'ry of my ageN
When men review my daysO
They'll read thy love in every pageN
In every line thy praiseO
