Public prayer and praiseC
-
The praise of Zion waits for theeA
My God and praise becomes thy houseD
There shall thy saints thy glory seeA
And there perform their public vowsE
-
O thou whose mercy bends the skiesF
To save when humble sinners prayG
All lands to thee shall lift their eyesF
And islands of the northern seaA
-
Against my will my sins prevailH
But grace shall purge away their stainI
The blood of Christ will never failH
To wash my garments white againJ
-
Blest is the man whom thou shalt chooseK
And give him kind access to theeA
Give him a place within thy houseD
To taste thy love divinely freeA
-
PAUSEL
-
Let Babel fear when Zion praysC
Babel prepare for long distressM
When Zion's God himself arraysC
In terror and in righteousnessN
-
With dreadful glory God fulfilsN
What his afflicted saints requestO
And with almighty wrath revealsN
His love to give his churches restO
-
Then shall the flocking nations runP
To Zion's hill and own their LordQ
The rising and the setting sunP
Shall see the Savior's name adoredQ
