vA
C MB
Victory and deliverance from persecutionC
-
Are all the foes of Zion foolsD
Who thus devour her saintsE
Do they not know her Savior rulesD
And pities her complaintsE
-
They shall be seized with sad surpriseF
For God's revenging armG
Scatters the bones of them that riseF
To do his children harmG
-
In vain the sons of Satan boastH
Of armies in arrayI
When God has first despised their hostH
They fall an easy preyI
-
O for a word from Zion's KingJ
Her captives to restoreK
Jacob with all his tribes shall singJ
And Judah weep no moreK
