vA
C MB
Obedience is better than sacrificeC
-
Thus saith the Lord The spacious fieldsD
And flocks and herds are mineE
O'er all the cattle of the hillsF
I claim a right divineE
-
I ask no sheep for sacrificeC
Nor bullocks burnt with fireG
To hope and love to pray and praiseH
Is all that I requireG
-
Call upon me when trouble's nearI
My hand shall set thee freeA
Then shall thy thankful lips declareJ
The honor due to meA
-
The man that offers humble praiseH
He glorifies me bestK
And those that tread my holy waysH
Shall my salvation tasteL
