Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEFE GHGH IGJG KILM NOPQ RSRT

vA
C MB
The last judgmentC
-
The Lord the Judge before his throneD
Bids the whole earth draw nighE
The nations near the rising sunF
And near the western skyE
-
No more shall bold blasphemers sayG
Judgment will ne'er beginH
No more abuse his long delayG
To impudence and sinH
-
Throned on a cloud our God shall comeI
Bright flames prepare his wayG
Thunder and darkness fire and stormJ
Lead on the dreadful dayG
-
Heav'n from above his call shall hearK
Attending angels comeI
And earth and hell shall know and fearL
His justice and their doomM
-
But gather all my saints he criesN
That made their peace with GodO
By the Redeemer's sacrificeP
And sealed it with his bloodQ
-
Their faith and works brought forth to lightR
Shall make the world confessS
My sentence of reward is rightR
And heav'n adore my graceT
