Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEDE FGFG HIHI JKLK MNMN OPQP

vA
S MB
The beauty of the church or Gospel worship and orderC
-
Far as thy name is knownD
The world declares thy praiseE
Thy saints O Lord before thy throneD
Their songs of honor raiseE
-
With joy let Judah standF
On Zion's chosen hillG
Proclaim the wonders of thy handF
And counsels of thy willG
-
Let strangers walk aroundH
The city where we dwellI
Compass and view thine holy groundH
And mark the building wellI
-
The orders of thy houseJ
The worship of thy courtK
The cheerful songs the solemn vowsL
And make a fair reportK
-
How decent and how wiseM
How glorious to beholdN
Beyond the pomp that charms the eyesM
And rites adorned with goldN
-
The God we worship nowO
Will guide us till we dieP
Will be our God while here belowQ
And ours above the skyP
